ihaveeric asked: Hey, whats your gym routine? Cause i lift a bit, but im a heavier guy. So i build muscle quick, but i have a bit of extra ME around the middle that i want gone by around summer. I lift every other day. Any tips? (i know youre naturally thin, but i would appreciate suggestions.)
4x10 all exercises unless i say otherwise
mondays- Chest
dumbell press/flatbench
incline
overhead cable flies
underhand cable flies
machine flies
decline press/machine
Tuesday- Back
Lat Pull Downs
seated rows
dumbell row
t bar row
deadlifts
other random overhead row machines
Wednesday- Shoulders
Dumbell shoulder press
Smith Machine front shrugs( aka machine with the attached barbell on the slider jaunt)
side raises either dumbell or cable machine
upward row
front raises dumbell/cables
dumbell side shrug
burnouts- 3 sets. 10 front raises, 10 side raises, 10 standing shoulder dumbell press. (lightweight)
Thursdays- Arms
Dips- 5 sets. 1st set unweighted 12-15. sets 2-4 weighted, using dip belt either use a 45 pound plate or dumbell, i prefer plates but its all preference. 5th set unweighted- burnout.
Close grip bench press
skull crushers
tricep pulldowns on cable machine
single arm tricep extensions
straight bar curls
superman curls on cables. (overhand)
regular curls
hammer curls
seated machine curls
Abs- every other day
I alternate between weighted and non weighted workouts
weighted- Preacher crunches on the cable machine or use other ab machines. Weighted side oblique dips (not sure of name but the motion is a plate on one side and you like lean back and forth)
weighted crunches, mason twist using weight, leg ups.
non weighted- p90x ab ripper x.
Legs- I rarely do them but
Squats
legpress
seated leg curl
seated calf raises
standing calf raises using smith machine
lying leg curl
deadlift.
I dont do all of these all workouts on each day all the time, but like i try to pick about 4-5 for each muscle group, legs, chest, back, shoulders, bi’s, tri’s and there is a lot more that i didnt list but thats cause I dont do them that often if ever.
If you wanna trim the stomach fat and like tone that area up try light cardio after workouts. the weighted abs work really well for me, and I try to eat healthy. cut back from beer and pizza, and mac n cheese and shit with a lot of saturated fats. but if you have other questions feel free to ask me.
I like making out… a lot. Its kinda ridiculous how much I can get turned on (or in some cases really turned off) by the way a girl kisses.
My 21st birthday is today/tomorrow depending on where you are. I will celebrate by studying for my midterms.
